ive tried and tried to recompress files down to smaller sizes to save space. the size reported by windows, with my mouse held over the iso, is 7.99 gigs. this one, ive just got it, anddont know much about i know that old drive i had, was a good one. so much so on a cd, that it was writing the lead out, and about a 1/20th of the way thru, it errored, and still played. i dont want to do that, on the first burn with this drive. ive read overburn can tear up your dvd burner. once the cd-rw drive test write to the maximum possible overburn, nero cd speed will show the maximum possible writing on the cd.I have a HL-DT-ST BD-RE WH14NS40 1.03 drive. select the writing speed and set test capacity to test to test the maximum possible overburning.
if the overburning do not exceed the limit and completed.ġ6. if ur overnburning setting is correct, nero will not eject ur cd-r and will pop up this dialog simply click to continueġ3. once nero detected the compilation is greater than 80min (700mb) nero will prompt u this dialog wait a few more seconds for the next dialogġ2. NOTE: for ISO format or any compilation support multisession, if u want to overburn. next choose a compilation u wish to create. u can go recorder -> choose recorder or press Ctrl+R to in neroĥ. to comfirm if nero support overburning on ur cd-rw drive. Red Marker : 81:30.00 or 82:00.00 (if ur cd-r can burn up to 82min)įor 99min CD (For those capable of overburning on 99min cd)Īnd put maximum cd length to 99min (maximum 99min 40sec)Ĥ.
To check how much u can overburn refer to step16 To give u a clearer picture that u don't exceed the maximum limit of overburning on a 80/90/99min cd, u can use the status bar to help u mark the limits to enable overburning feature in nero, 1st go to file > preference check if nero detected ur burner can overburn.ġ. This is for Lite-on 32x 32123S or iomega CDRW15360INT-B or any lite-on oem or any cd-rw drive capable of writing 90/99min CD-Rs
